Les Chanlins is located above and beside Les Rugiens, closer to the village of Volnay than to Pommard itself. It is a steeply sloping rocky plot producing a tense, mineral wine with very noble tannins
Tasting Notes: Its fresh and velvety aromas of red berries make this a charming wine, but it needs three years in the cellar to tame its power.
Food Pairing Suggestion: It is a natural partner for cheeses with well-developed flavours: Époisses, Langres and Soumaintrain, but also Comté.
Grape variety: Pinot Noir
